Regina’s Teah Chavez and Keegan Rice have been selected as finalists in the 2023 Saskatchewan Sports Awards. The Sport Awards Gala will be held on Thursday, February 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the Queensbury Convention Centre in Regina. The annual program celebrates the success and dedication of those in the province’s amateur sport community through two categories – Excellence Awards and Recognition Awards. In the Excellence Awards category, Chavez and Rice are finalists in the Youth Athlete of the Year categories. Chavez is a two time winner in the Youth Female Athlete of the Year category, while Rice won the Youth Male Athlete of the Year Award last year.
